Just want to make your members aware of our October event “RidgeWalk & Run”. Held on the 16th in Wellsville NY. Here is a brief description:
Spectacular trail walks, or competitive runs all showcasing the stunning fall beauty along the highest ridge in western New York. Compete for awards in the 5K, 10K, or 15 mile trail runs. Bring family or friends to enjoy the 6, 9, or 15 miles trail walks, or a casual 2 mile road walk. This event is a great family outing, accessing remote trails on private land with a variety of educational signage. All events finish on a horse farm with festivities including refreshments, music, kids’ activities, health clinics, and wine & cheese tasting at the Jones Memorial Hospital “Finish Line Arena”. The 1st 900 entrants receive a T-shirt and goody bag. Pre-event dinner Saturday evening. See http://www.RidgeWalk.com for on-line entry and details.

Does any part of the site include elevation changes for different parts of the trail?

Our app and site do not include elevation profiles or topo maps – The parks lesser used and unmarked trails on the east end contain more hills than the flatter west end options around the ponds. No hills are very large –
