Scoring will work as follows:
For each race, points will be awarded so that the first place finisher gets 100 points, second place gets 99 points, third 98 points, etc. We will take your top 4 scores for the year to calculate your total points–if you race more than 4 of these races, the lower scores will be dropped from your total.

I was looking through the results and I noticed that I filled out my name differently on applications and now am showing up as two people in the results – Bill Weber (89 pts in Old Goat) and William Weber (87 pts in Medved) are both me. Can you please change both to Bill? I did the SPF 1/2 this weekend as Bill. Thanks!

can you update the website for the Mendon Trail Run to http://roc.us.orienteering.org/mtr/ both here and on your calendar. you can remove this after you do that

I ran 4 of these events, yet am not listed. Do I need to do something special next year to be included? I understand I would have had to be in the top 100 to get a point, but some of these events had less than 100 runners. Looking forward to next year’s series!

Are there any changes in TROY requirements now that Out of Bounds is cancelled? i.e. still need 4 race minimum?

Masters runners aren’t scored in open? I’m happy to have the chance to compete for the maters division, and if that’s all I can get, that’s OK. But I wouldn’t mind having a chance to get into the open competition if I can continue to improve this year.

Hi Jamie – We took a lot of flack over the past few years for a lack of a masters category and decided this year to do the extra work to include scoring both an open and a masters. As it stands (and will for the remainder of this years series) If you are 40+ you compete as a masters – if you under 39- you will compete as an open.
